No CSV Default Issue in Yellowfin BI

No CSV Default Issue in Yellowfin BI

There is the scenario, where we need to load .CSV file & do the analysis. While creating the report following issue occurred.
Solution: You role might defined as “Consumer & Collaborator”. This user can only access public content and contribute to collaborative features such as streams, timeline, etc.
Go to Administration - > Roles -> 'Consumer & Collaboration' & edit the role
So you need to have relevant CSV rights to do this activity, for that you need to enable ‘CSV Reports’ option in ‘Report Builder’ for mentioned role.
Thanks!

Composite View in Yellowfin BI

Composite View in Yellowfin BI

If you would like to create a report using multiple data sources, you need to enable 'Composite View' option & this is a role setting that is disabled by default. Please note ‘Advanced Sub Query’ can be used to join if Yellowfin views are in same data source.

To enable Composite Views browse to 'Administration' -> 'Admin Console' -> 'Roles' & select the role you would like to provide this access.

Just logout & login to verify.

Please note that your data source user must have writable permission on that database.

Thanks !
