BI Publisher - Data Source Connection Configuration

Data Source Connection Settings

1. Login into BI Publisher (xmlpserver) using “weblogic” user then follow the below steps.

   Then Go to -> Administration tab               

2. The JDBC Connection screen will open as shown below. Then add the Data Source.

               

3. After clicking on “Add Data Source”, will shown as below.

4. Follow steps as shown below.

Example: Creating data source for Oracle 11g driver type.

Data Source Name: My_DS

Connection String: JDBC:ORACLE:THIN:@<<Host_Name>>:<<Port Number>>:<<Instance_ID>>

User Name & Password: Provide proper credentials.

Then click on “Test Connectivity” for confirmation.

If successfully connected, click on Apply.
